Cookie policy
This policy describes the cookies and browser storage b2service.ge uses and why. In short: we use only files that are strictly necessary for the website to work, and no tracking or advertising cookies.
1. What is a cookie
A cookie is a small text file a website stores in your browser. It lets the website "remember", for example, that you are signed in or what is in your cart. The browser's local storage (localStorage, IndexedDB) is used for similar purposes.
2. What we use
2.1. Strictly necessary cookies
Without them you cannot sign in, use the cart or place an order. All of them come from our domain (b2service.ge) and are not shared with third parties.
- _medusa_jwt — the signed-in customer's session. Lifetime: 7 days or until you sign out.
- _medusa_cart_id — cart identifier. Lifetime: 7 days.
- _b2_active — last activity time, so the session ends safely after 30 minutes of inactivity. Lifetime: 7 days.
- _b2_idle_out — shows the "Session ended" message. Lifetime: 10 minutes.
- _medusa_locale — website language (Georgian / English). Lifetime: 1 year.
- _medusa_cache_id — a technical identifier so data loaded for you is not mixed with others'. Lifetime: 24 hours.
- _medusa_verification, _medusa_password_reset, _medusa_google_signup, _medusa_pending_customer — temporary data during email confirmation, password reset and Google sign-up. Lifetime: from a few minutes to 24 hours, or until the process is completed.
- _auth_return — the page you return to after signing in with Google. Lifetime: 30 minutes.
2.2. Browser local storage
- cookie_consent — remembers that you have acknowledged the cookie notice.
- compare — products you selected for comparison.
- b2_last_activity — last activity time shared by all open tabs of the website (for sign-out after inactivity).
- Saved request form (IndexedDB) — if you fill in a product request before signing in, the form and attached files are kept in your browser for 30 minutes so they are sent automatically after you sign in.
This data stays on your device and is not sent to the server.
2.3. What we do not use
The website has no analytics (e.g. Google Analytics), advertising (e.g. Facebook Pixel) or social media tracking cookies. Videos and fonts are loaded from our own server. If we add such a tool in the future, it will be enabled only with your prior consent and this policy will be updated.
3. Third-party pages
In some cases you leave our website for another service's page, which uses its own cookies under its own policy:
- Google — when you use "Sign in with Google";
- Bank of Georgia and TBC Bank (the page of its partner, Flitt) — when you pay by card or in installments;
- social networks (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube) and WhatsApp — only when you click their links.
4. Consent
On your first visit a cookie notice appears at the bottom of the website. After you click "I agree" it no longer appears. If you are signed in, the time of consent is also stored in your profile. Since we use only strictly necessary files, they are required for the website to work.
5. Managing cookies
You can view, delete and block cookies in your browser settings (Chrome, Safari, Firefox, Edge — "Privacy" / "Cookies and site data"). If you block strictly necessary cookies, sign-in, the cart and checkout will not work. Clearing browser data also clears your cart, comparison selection and cookie consent.
6. Contact
If you have questions, write to hello@b2service.ge. Details on how personal data is processed are in the privacy policy.
