The license is intended for the Georgia region — it is meant to be activated and used in Georgia. ESET may reject the key when activated in another country. All of our licenses are for the Georgia region.

What it protects you from

• Security audit — shows which app has access to what (location, contacts, camera) and weak system settings

ESET Mobile Security is light — it does not slow your phone down and barely uses the battery.

Mobile Security or HOME Security?

• ESET Mobile Security — for Android phones and tablets only.
• ESET HOME Security Essential / Premium — one license for computers (Windows, Mac) and Android. If you also need to protect a computer, choose HOME Security.

• Current Android versions (phone or tablet)
• Internet — for installation, activation and virus database updates
• This product does not work on iPhone or iPad

How you receive the license

• Once the payment is confirmed, the license key appears in your account: My profile → My licenses.
• You receive an email letting you know the license is ready.
• If you like, the “Send to email” button in “My licenses” also emails the key to you.

Installation and activation

1. If another antivirus is installed on the phone, uninstall it first.
2. Download “ESET Mobile Security” from Google Play.
3. Open the app and follow the first-run setup — grant the required permissions.
4. When activating, choose to enter a license key (“Enter license key”).
5. Enter the key from “My licenses” and confirm — the Premium features turn on.
6. Optionally connect the phone to your ESET HOME account (home.eset.com) — then you can find a lost phone with Anti-Theft from a browser too.

With a 5-device license, enter the same key on each phone and tablet until you reach 5.

FAQ

Does it work on iPhone?

No, ESET Mobile Security is for Android devices only.

How do I move protection to a new phone?

Uninstall the app from the old phone (or remove the device in your ESET HOME account) and activate the new one with the same key.

What happens when the term ends?

When the license expires, the Premium features (Anti-Theft, App Lock, banking protection and more) turn off and the virus database is no longer updated. To continue, buy a new key and enter it in the app.

Does it renew automatically?

No. A license activated with a key does not renew automatically and nothing is charged to your card.

Can I get a refund?

Once the digital key has been received, the right of withdrawal no longer applies (see the refund policy).
