Microsoft 365 Business Standard – 1-Year License

What you get

A digital code for a 1-year Microsoft 365 Business Standard subscription for one user (employee) — a 25-character key (format XXXXX-XXXXX-XXXXX-XXXXX-XXXXX). The subscription is added to your company’s Microsoft 365 business account (tenant), and the apps are always up to date.

The license is intended for the Georgia region — it is meant to be activated and used in Georgia. Microsoft may reject the key when activated in another country. All of our licenses are for the Georgia region.

Business Standard or another plan?

• Microsoft 365 Business Standard — desktop Office apps + email + Teams: the most common choice for small and medium businesses.
• Microsoft 365 Personal / Family — personal use only; not for companies and no business email.
• Office Home and Business 2024 — a lifetime license for one computer with commercial use, but without email, Teams and cloud storage.

System requirements

• Windows 10 or Windows 11, or one of the last three macOS versions
• Current iOS, iPadOS or Android versions
• Internet — for installation, activation and updates
• A Microsoft 365 business (work) account — created during activation if you don’t have one
• For email on your own domain — a domain and access to its DNS settings

How you receive the license

• Once the payment is confirmed, the license key appears in your account: My profile → My licenses.
• You receive an email letting you know the license is ready.
• If you like, the “Send to email” button in “My licenses” also emails the key to you.
• Companies can pay by invoice and receive a VAT tax invoice.

Activation

1. Open Microsoft’s official page setup.office.com.
2. If your company already has a Microsoft 365 business account, sign in with the admin work account. If not, create one: company name, admin details and a work account (e.g. name@yourcompany.onmicrosoft.com).
3. Enter the 25-character key from “My licenses” and confirm — the subscription is added to the company account and the 1-year term starts.
4. Open admin.microsoft.com → Users → Active users, choose the employee (or add a new one) and assign the Microsoft 365 Business Standard license.

Installing the apps

1. The employee signs in at microsoft365.com with their work account.
2. Click “Install apps” → “Microsoft 365 apps” — Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, OneNote and Teams download.
3. Run the installer and, when it finishes, open an app with the same work account.
4. On phones and tablets, download Outlook, Teams and the Microsoft 365 apps from the App Store or Google Play.

Email on your company domain

1. admin.microsoft.com → Settings → Domains → “Add domain” and enter your domain (e.g. yourcompany.ge).
2. Verify the domain — Microsoft gives you a DNS record (TXT) to add in your domain’s control panel.
3. Add the email records Microsoft shows (MX, CNAME, SPF/TXT).
4. Give users email addresses on the new domain.

FAQ

How many employees does one key cover?

One key — one user (employee). You need as many licenses as you have employees; all of them are activated on the same company account.

What happens at the end of the year?

When the subscription ends, Microsoft keeps the account for a while so you can renew; after that the apps switch to read-only mode and email and files are blocked. To continue, buy a new key and activate it on the same account.

Can I extend my current subscription?

Yes. Activating a new key on the same company account adds the time to your current subscription.

Can I use it with a personal Microsoft account?

No. Business Standard works only with a work (business) account, which is created during activation. For personal use choose Microsoft 365 Personal or Family.

Can I get a refund?

Once the digital key has been received, the right of withdrawal no longer applies (see the refund policy).
