Microsoft 365 Family – 1-Year License

What you get

A digital code for a 1-year Microsoft 365 Family subscription — a 25-character key (format XXXXX-XXXXX-XXXXX-XXXXX-XXXXX) that is added to your Microsoft account. During the subscription the apps are always up to date and updates are free.

The license is intended for the Georgia region — it is meant to be activated and used in Georgia. Microsoft may reject the key when activated in another country. All of our licenses are for the Georgia region.

Each member can install the apps on all their devices and be signed in on up to 5 at the same time:

Family or another plan?

• Microsoft 365 Family — for up to 6 people (family, friends), each with their own account, files and 1 TB of OneDrive.
• Microsoft 365 Personal — for one person only; if 2 or more people use it, Family is better value.
• Office 2024 (lifetime) — a one-time purchase for one computer, without 1 TB of OneDrive and new features.
• For business — Family is not intended for commercial use; for a company choose Microsoft 365 Business or Office Home and Business.

How to add family members

1. After activating the subscription, open account.microsoft.com/services.
2. On Microsoft 365 Family choose “Sharing”.
3. Click “Start sharing” and invite members by email or link — up to 5 people besides you.
4. Each invited member accepts with their own Microsoft account and installs the apps on their devices.

Each member’s files, email and OneDrive stay private — other members cannot see them.

System requirements

• Windows 10 or Windows 11, or one of the last three macOS versions
• Current iOS, iPadOS or Android versions
• Internet — for installation, activation and updates
• A Microsoft account (free; you can create one during activation)

How you receive the license

• Once the payment is confirmed, the license key appears in your account: My profile → My licenses.
• You receive an email letting you know the license is ready.
• If you like, the “Send to email” button in “My licenses” also emails the key to you.

Activation and installation

1. Open Microsoft’s official page microsoft365.com/setup.
2. Sign in with your Microsoft account (or create a new one).
3. Enter the 25-character key from “My licenses” and choose your country and language.
4. Confirm — the subscription is added to your account and the 1-year term starts now.
5. Go to microsoft365.com and click “Install apps” — Word, Excel, PowerPoint and the other apps download.
6. Run the installer and, when it finishes, open any app with the same Microsoft account.
7. On phones and tablets, download the Microsoft 365 / Word / Excel apps from the App Store or Google Play and sign in with the same account.

FAQ

What happens at the end of the year?

When the subscription ends, the apps switch to read-only mode — you can open and print files but not edit them or create new ones. Each member’s OneDrive storage drops to 5 GB. To continue, buy a new key and activate it the same way.

Can I extend my current subscription?

Yes. If you already have Microsoft 365 Family, activating a new key on the same account adds the time to your current subscription.

Can I switch from Personal to Family?

Yes. When you activate a Family key on the same account, Microsoft converts the remaining Personal time to Family (the time is recalculated proportionally).

Does it renew automatically?

No. A subscription activated with a key does not renew automatically and nothing is charged to your card unless you turn on renewal in your Microsoft account yourself.

What if Office is already installed?

It is best to uninstall the old Office version first and then install Microsoft 365 — your files and documents stay as they are.

Can I get a refund?

Once the digital key has been received, the right of withdrawal no longer applies (see the refund policy).
